Our Story

Marcel Fable Price is a systems architect and multi-hyphenate creative who builds at the intersection of cultural capital and economic equity. As the founder of The RE: GROUP Strategies and current Director of Platform and Programming at Kalamazoo Forward Ventures, Fable bridges the gap between grassroots authenticity and high-stakes enterprise, serving as a vital strategist for Michigan’s entrepreneurial ecosystem.

His track record spans the creative and for-profit realms: from serving as the former Poet Laureate of Grand Rapids to architecting the state’s largest non-dilutive collegiate pitch competition. He doesn’t just create art; he builds systems. A self-taught, multi-million dollar raising nonprofit executive, he led an organization from incorporation to raising $6M+ for a multicultural arts center in an intentionally underinvested area.

A 2023 Newsmaker of the Year and Southwest Michigan First “First 50” honoree, Fable’s expertise is sought by philanthropic institutions, private equity interests, and educational councils alike.
